Artist's Comments

Two G1 rainbow ponies, the purple being Windy :heart: and the blue being Starflower :heart:

Been feeling a little stressed out this week and I was severely lacking in art motivation for the other projects, so I doodled this little drawing for fun and containing the two things that I enjoy best - rainbows and unicorn ponies. I can’t help it if I like colours. :XD: Inspirations would be… well, I finally got me a Windy pony :heart:, who is definitely now one of my favourite unicorns, and although I don’t have Starflower, I threw him in because he is pretty. And there’s a little meaning behind the whole thing so I suppose it’s a memento of sorts also.

Used colour pencils - crayolas, polychromos and this brand of pencil called Memory Pencils. O.o Done mostly with cross-hatching because cross-hatching is fun! And wavy lines, because drawing those is fun too, though I got a bit carried away with the hair. ^^; Scanner made drawing a tad too dark, but it can’t be helped.

That's really cute! Such big, pretty eyes. X) Again, lovely coloring--this time soft and delicate and STILL smooth, though different. I admire THAT. Whoo!

And that hair is great. XD I have ponies like that in my own little herd. ;)
