Hee, something most of you should be familiar with - a mlp pony with a background of colourful randomness. This is the Hasbro G1, Molasses.
Molasses is of the Candy Cane set released in Year 7. There are some aspects of this pony that I think Hasbro could have improved on - for one, I don't understand how 'molasses' have anything to do with that thing on her flank, though I guess it could just be that molasses don't really seem to be used much here (Aust.) for cooking. I also find the name Molasses distasteful, so I call her Tassie instead (for some reason I kept thinking her name was Tassels).
Despite her not being one of Hasbro's best creations, I drew her because she's my first G1 for 2009, and the first pony I got from my first pony meet! yay! Hence, she's special and I'm very happy to have her. (Also drew her because I wanted a shot at drawing those curls X3 love drawing hair~ though her hair colour isn't right. my bad.)
Not one of my best, but its nice to go back to doing something bright and colourful. :3
Molasses is of Hasbro creation but the artwork itself is mine, so please, do not use/alter/distribute in any manner (including tattoos) without my permission.
The symbol is a gingerbread man by the looks of it, I'll take a leap and assume molasses is used in the baking of those. If not, we'll just call him a molasses cookie and be done with it. Either way she's lovely, the curls are perfect and I like her colours.

hnn, I hadn't really thought of the molasses and cookie ingredient connection (though I figured the symbol was something of a weird gingerbread man). Molasses isn't really a word that I'm very familiar with. Thanks for taking the time to comment

(and HumanOutside is right, in that molasses is used in baking gingerbread.)
