Another contest entry for the MLPTP Friendship contest, featuring my Silver Shadow (again), thunderbun’s Monterey and Unicornucopia’s Aliki :3

The story for this one is that Monterey, Silsha and Aliki are doing some marine animal study and are going through the rockpools at the beach; the one they’re in a super big rockpool, incase you’re wondering. Anyway, Monterey’s stumbled across an octopus and she’s called them to share the experience of looking at it. She probably is explaining its features, etc since she is a marine science pony.

:3 It’s inspired by my Invertebrate Zoology unit last semester, which has lead me to appreciate ocean critters a whole lot more, particularly jellyfish.

I can’t say enough how much I love Monterey’s design though – she was the first one I coloured because I was so excited to get do that hair. :3 Dunno if I got the body colour right, but then the printer wouldn’t print out the body colour as was in the provided image, so I just went with the description “light blue”.
